Amaranta Oak-aged

Amaranta Oak-aged

This is not so much a comment on the flavors of this product, but rather an effort to note previous cachaças I have consumed. I don’t remember much about this one. I sampled it once more than a year ago. I do not find anything on the internet about it, which means that this is likely a clandestine product.

The label notes that it was aged 15 years in American oak and that it is an organic product. I don’t know whether any of this information is true or not. I happened to take this picture because at the time I wanted to record the products I consumed. But I don’t see information on the label about where the product was made, the name of the distillery or the ABV.

So, I wish I could tell you that this is a good product. But I honestly don’t remember. What I can say, with almost near certainty, is that this is a clandestine product purchased from a small distillery. Do with this information what you like.
