If you’ve gotten a chance to try Avuá in the US, then you’re familiar with this producer. Yep, that’s right, everything from Avuá is produced by Da Quinta. This is another throwback cachaça, and when I say throwback, I mean I sampled it nearly a year ago.

I bought this bottle on the final stop of my trip through the south. I can’t recall the price, exactly, but I do remember thinking it was reasonable, and then realizing that the bottle is only 500 ml.

Regardless, this is a high quality Amburana. It’s great served with an ice cube or chilled. The amburana is not over done, and I recall, very well, how the cane flavor really came through. Since you can go out and buy Avuá right now, and since they do have an Amburana, I’m sure you can taste this one for yourself. Go out and get a bottle right now.
